I took my big pre-boards exam this week. For those of you that don't know what that is, its basically finals all over again but over every class we've taken so far and on the first day back from our month long break. Sweet huh?
Every class was only 20 questions. If you scored below a 75% you have to remediate the class. Annoying right? It seemed silly to me that we would have to basically take the class over again when we have already taken it and passed, and with pretty much straight A's except for a particular lovely class.
There was much panic in the classroom yesterday as little slips of paper got handed out.
This was one of those instances where you wanted a small strip and not a big one. Since the school still has my maiden name I had to wait for 56 other girls to get their results back first. And the majority of them seemed to not be good. (Lots of big pieces of paper.)
I'm proud to say that I do NOT need to remediate any of my previous classes! And I got an 87% overall. (This is a big deal fyi)
This was such a relief.
I now feel more confident about taking the actual national boards and clinical exams in a little less than a year.
Let the studying begin. . .
WOW! You are so SMART! Great Job! That is super exciting!
