"Honeymoon"

We were finally able to take our long awaited "honeymoon"

We took a cruise down to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta for a week

The weather was wonderful and we loved every minute of it!

Our first day in Cabo we did an excursion where we went zip lining. There were 8 different lines all over 300 feet high. Lots of hiking in the very hot desert. But we made it!

We had a great time and enjoyed a whole week together with just the two of us!

The views some people have regarding gay individuals are so saddening to me.

Birthday

We celebrated my birthday over the weekend, yes the whole weekend, along with one of my top favorite holidays. I luckily had the day off from school on my actual birthday so I was able to spend the whole day doing whatever I pleased. Thankfully I have a wonderful husband and awesome friends and family who made it even better.

Unfortunately I did wake up to snow on my birthday. That was a bummer.

But the usual Friday morning Zumba sesh cheered me up.

Easter was wonderful.

Matt and I were able to enjoy the lovely weather after church.

Whitney and I planned a little Easter dinner for our family and friends.

Our first semi-real Easter dinner on our own. Great success.

Everything was delicious and the company was great!

Conference

Conference is always a great reminder for me on how I should be conducting my life. (If only it was more than twice a year.) I loved all the sweet words that were spoken, but President Uchtdorf's words really hit home for me.

Everyone in the world is facing hard trials, whether they be on the surface or kept private. Regardless of whether we are aware of what each person is going through, we need to stop it. Stop judging, excluding others, gossiping, the list goes on. . .

And since I posted about this, this is now my public intention to be better :)

Happy List

Its that time of year, or that time of the semester, where everything is getting piled up. The endless assignments, numerous dreadful group projects, quizzes and not to mention finals... They say this is the worst semester during our program, and so far I would have to agree. I could not be more thrilled to be finishing this semester to two weeks. And because its that time of the semester, I need a bit more motivation is finish strong, so naturally I made a list. . .
